Rewmar MB Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane System is used to form a damp proof membrance and moisture vapour suppressant to concrete screeds. Ideal for use underneath wood floors to prevent moisture escaping the subfloor, the Rewmar MB Epoxy DPM System is a solvent-free two-component epoxy resin and surface damp proof membrane to prevent wood shrinking or damp formation.
Rewmar MB Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane System is a flexibilised epoxy, containing wetting agents, penetrants, flow agents and defoamers to maximise penetration of the subfloor, increase adhesion of substrates and minimise pinholes.
Full cure of the DPM is achieved 7 days after application.
|Coverage||Approximately 3-5 square metres per kg|
Full technical information can be found here and should be followed at all times.
The substrate should be clean, free from oil, grease or other agents that may impair adhesion. All residues should be removed to create a dust free open textured surface for application of the Rewmar MB Epoxy DPM.
Manufacturer's instructions should be followed at all times. Curing Agent Component B should be mixed into Resin Component A and mixed thoroughly using a slow speed industrial hand drill.
Two coats should be applied to the subfloor. Apply the first coat using a squeegee or roller and allow to cure for 8-15 hours. Apply the second coat using a squeegee or roller and apply adhesive within 24 hours.
Rewmar recommends cleaning tools and hands using Rewmar Hand & Tool Wipes after application.
